Grief Care Group – Chapter 4 is a conversational group meeting together to discover hope and healing after the loss of a loved one. This is an open group for adults. 1st Saturdays 11am-1pm
Caregiver Support Group – Free Time for Me is a caregiver support group with the emphasis on “ME”, the caregiver. This is an open group (for adults) helping caregivers find hope in what sometimes feels like a hopeless situation. 1st Saturdays 2pm-4pm
Financial Peace University – FPU is the most important step to changing your financial future. It takes the knowledge from the Word of God and turns it into real action in our lives through a step-by-step process taught by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey. FPU is a 9-week life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and God’s plan for your life. The course includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving like never before, and much, much more! Group will meet on Thursdays from 6pm-8pm beginning on September 13. Cost of the class is around $100.
Parenting through the Phases – You have approximately 936 weeks from the time your child is born until he or she graduates from high school. It goes by fast, and kids change and grow quickly. It’s as if they shift or move on just as you’re starting to figure them out. It all makes the responsibility to shape a child’s faith and character feel overwhelming.
Parenting through the Phases short-term group helps you walk through concise and interactive journal-style books that simplify what parents need to know about each phase of a kid’s life and give them the opportunity to discover more about their children—so they can make the most of every phase. Discover what’s changing about your kid over the next 52 weeks, the 6 things your kid needs most, and 4 conversations to have in your child’s specific phase.
Divorce Care – Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Divorce Care groups are 13 weeks and meet at the Journey campus.
