Missions in Haiti – what do you do on a Mission trip?!
We wanted to give a brief description as to what goes on during these trips. Obviously the main goal of each trip is serving our brothers and sisters in Christ and with each trip we hope and pray that the lost come to know Him through prayer and conversations. On top of that, each week has been designed to suit every teams abilities, keeping in mind that GOD has given us each a different talent! There are work projects, construction within the local churches/homes, village ministry, building rabbit cages, devotion time with the team, worshiping and the list goes on!
September 2018 – in addition the items listed above, the September 2018 team will be really focusing on home construction and the sports outreach project. Even though this trip is full, you now have some specific items to pray for!
November 2018 – Village ministry will be a huge part of this trip, specifically in a location where there is an upcoming church plant and some construction projects.
January 2019 – Another focus of this trip will be improving the facilities at the local schools. We would LOVE to have some teachers on this trip. There will be opportunities to teach in the schools, mentor, and some one on one time with the Haitian teachers.
April 2019 – The April team will be focusing on relationship and faith building through sports! If you or anyone you know has a passion for basketball or soccer, this could be the trip!!
September 2019 – We will be working on home and church construction projects/repairs. This is the trip for you or someone you know if you are handy in these areas!
November 2019 – There will be a focus on medical assessments during this trip. Doctors and nurses are most definitely welcome to join, as local health assessments will be taking place at the orphanages and schools.
More to come, stay tuned!!
